DIY wall on a budget

My home is a mix of high-end materials, furniture cabinetry, wall paper and décor and then my home is also filled with many cheaper alternatives which look just as great as the expensive items (if chosen properly that is)

I’m a firm believer in mixing things up if you need to. Not everybody has the budget to change styles continuously (or if at all) when decorating their home.

But today I updated my office space ON THE CHEAP, to inspire others who may be on a budget to get creative and enjoy the space they are living or working in.

For this feature wall I used 4 rolls of Kmart contact paper which you can find right here

Can you believe it was only $3 a roll! YES! WHATT??

I’ve used high end wallpaper in many previous projects and whilst this is not the high end stuff, you will be surprised how great it actually turns out) it is fiddly I must admit, however, it’s very forgiving and you can continue to move it around and re-apply until you get it exactly the way you’d like. (note; in the 3rd image how you can see air bubbles- this is easily fixed by using your palm to smooth them out!

You're welcome!
